What Does my Message Status Indicate?
CLiX assigns a status to each message you send, indicating its progress.
The status indicates if the message was delivered or if any issues occurred during
Message Status | Definition |
Delivered | SMS delivery has been confirmed by either the upstream carrier or the recipient device. |
Sent | The message has been successfully handed off to the carriers, and CLiX is currently awaiting delivery confirmation. |
Undelivered | Despite multiple delivery attempts, the carrier was unable to transmit the message to the recipient’s handset. Please verify that the phone number is accurate and that the device is powered on and within network coverage. |
Invalid Number | The recipient’s number is invalid and cannot be processed for delivery. This may be due to incorrect formatting or a typographical error. |
Rejected | Although the message reached the carrier, it was actively rejected during processing. |
Expired | The system attempted to deliver the message, but it timed out as the recipient’s number was unavailable. |
No Credits | Message delivery failed due to insufficient account credit |
Accepted | Operators have acknowledged receipt of the message. |
Deleted | Message delivery was unsuccessful due to conditions such as a barred number, absent subscriber, or general delivery failure. |
Enroute | The message is in transit, and CLiX is awaiting confirmation of successful delivery from the carrier. |
Failed | Message transmission was unsuccessful due to an issue on the supplier’s side. |
Unknown | CLiX has not received any delivery status update from the upstream supplier. |
